Texas MUDs · Utilities · Local government

Cybersecurity your district can actually afford.

Federal and state programs already pay for this work. You apply, the money comes to you, and we secure your SCADA and control systems. We are Houston-based, and small critical infrastructure is all we do — water, wastewater, energy, and local government.

Attackers now use AI to target water controllers

Deadline coming up: the Texas Water Development Board funding window opens in December and closes in early March. A finished cybersecurity assessment earns 2.50 priority points. Updated November 2026, from federal reporting through early September.

How it works

One assessment. Three problems solved.

  1. Your district applies

The grant goes to the district, not to us. We help you prepare, and your board picks the vendor.

  2. We assess, without touching your controls

Interviews, documents and a walk-through with your operator present. No scanning of live equipment.

  3. You get a report that does three jobs

It covers the federal AWIA cybersecurity requirement, earns TWDB priority points, and supports your next grant application.

Why us

Most security vendors scope the work. We fund it.

We start with the money

We find the grant, help your district apply, and build the project around what the funding actually covers.

We know water, not just IT

SCADA, PLCs, lift stations, remote pump sites. Our assessments never probe live equipment, and we will not take a plant offline to install a patch.

We write for boards

One page your directors can read and a file your regulator will accept. No jargon, no 200-page binder.

We're small on purpose

You get the people who did the work. No junior consultant flown in who has never seen a control room.

Above the line

Known assets. Separated networks. Someone watching. A plan that has been tested.

The security poverty line
Below the line

Default passwords. One flat network. One person who "handles the computers."

Small districts aren't careless — they're underfunded. Grant money is how you cross the line. Getting you across is the whole job.

Tell us about your district.

Send us your system type, roughly how many connections you serve, and what's worrying you. We'll reply within one business day with plain next steps and the funding you likely qualify for. No sales pressure.

Not ready for a project? We'll help you sign up for CISA's free Cyber Hygiene scanning first. It costs nothing, and past state cybersecurity grants have required it.
